Restor connects people and projects to the funding and data they need to increase the impact and scale of these efforts. Restor was founded in 2020 by the Crowther Lab at ETH Zurich and developed in collaboration with Google.

There are nearly 130,000 restoration and conservation sites across 140 countries on Restor. Many of these are reforestation sites, but Restor is also home to projects restoring wetlands, grasslands, mangroves, coral reefs, and more.
Restor is a charitable foundation. Developed in collaboration with Google, Restor is an Earthshot Prize 2021 Finalist and an official partner of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration. By 2030 Restor will support more than 1 million grassroots nature projects to scale up for biodiversity and climate impact.
Notable global organizations on Restor include: WWF, Trillion Trees, the Government of Costa Rica, Suzano S.A., Zurich Insurance and Desta’s Coffee. All organizations are welcome.
